Reuse

The principle of "Reuse" is key to sustainable development as it extends product lifecycles and reduces waste production. By using items multiple times or repurposing them, we minimize resource consumption and manufacturing impacts.

Teaching reuse in primary school helps children understand product value and creative problem-solving. Through practical examples like restoring old furniture or swapping toys and books with classmates, students learn that used items still have worth. This education promotes a sharing economy mindset, with children often inspiring their families to consider second-hand furniture and participate in local exchange communities.

The second chapter of the handbook will be published at the beginning of 2026.
